Account deletion

How to delete a StudioFly studio account, a staff login, or the data a studio holds about you as a member.

StudioFly is a brand of MyGymDesk Technologies

MyGymDesk Technologies Private Limited owns and operates StudioFly, including studiofly.fit and the StudioFly Business and StudioFly Member apps. Questions go to support@studiofly.fit.

You can ask for your StudioFly account, or the personal data a studio holds about you, to be deleted. How it works depends on whether you run a studio or train at one.

If you run a studio (StudioFly Business)

Your studio account is yours, so we delete it when you ask.

In the app: sign in to StudioFly Business as the account owner, open Settings → Account Settings, and choose "Delete Account & All Data" under Danger Zone. Type your studio's name to confirm.

What this deletes, once it is carried out:

  • all member records, including profiles, attendance and progress
  • memberships, class packs, invoices and payment history
  • classes, private sessions, bookings and timetables
  • staff, enquiries, messages and uploaded files
  • your studio profile, settings and login

What we keep: the tax invoices we issued to your studio for its StudioFly subscription, which we are required to keep, and a record that the deletion was requested and carried out.

What happens next: your request is recorded straight away and our team is notified. We review each request before anything is deleted; nothing is deleted automatically. If you change your mind, email support@studiofly.fit before the deletion has been carried out.

Only the account owner can request this. If you are an instructor or front-desk staff member, see below.

If you are an instructor or staff member

Your login is created and managed by your studio. Ask the studio owner to remove you from their team. To have your login itself deleted, email support@studiofly.fit from the email address you sign in with.

If you are a member of a studio (StudioFly Member)

Your studio holds your data and decides what happens to it. It is the data controller (a "data fiduciary" under India's DPDP Act). StudioFly makes the software your studio uses and stores that data on its behalf. We do not delete a studio's member records on our own, so your request goes to your studio.

What your studio may hold: your name and contact details, your membership, class packs and payment history, attendance, class and private-session bookings, and any fitness or health details you gave the studio.

In the app: open StudioFly Member, go to Profile → Delete My Data, and tap "Send deletion request". Because you are signed in, your studio knows the request is really from you.

What happens next: we record your request and notify your studio immediately, and they can see it in StudioFly so it is not lost in an inbox. Your studio then reviews and actions it. When a studio deletes a member, their member record, bookings, packs, payments and app login are removed. Your studio may have to keep some records, such as paid invoices, where the law requires it.

Your studio carries out the deletion, so it is the quickest place to chase progress. If you cannot reach them, or you no longer have the app, email support@studiofly.fit with your name, the phone number or email address your studio has on file, and the studio's name. We will pass your request to the studio and follow it up with them.
