StudioFly vs WellnessLiving for studios in the US

Last verified: 26 September 2026

WellnessLiving and StudioFly both run class-based studios from one system, and both publish plan prices in US dollars. This page compares them for a studio in the US: what each plan costs and includes, how members pay, sales tax, text messages and support.

WellnessLiving lists a lot that StudioFly doesn't, from ACH payments and text messages to Book-a-Spot and family accounts, and this page shows it. We make StudioFly. Every WellnessLiving fact below comes from WellnessLiving's own pages, with a numbered source, checked on 25 or 26 September 2026 from India; its pricing page may look different from other locations.

WellnessLiving is a trademark of its owner. StudioFly is not affiliated with or endorsed by WellnessLiving. Other product names on this page belong to their owners.

SWITCHING

Moving from WellnessLiving to StudioFly.

A realistic plan, step by step. Nothing here needs to happen in a hurry.

  1. Export what you have

Export your client list from App Drawer > View All > Clients as CSV, Excel or PDF, and export reports the same way (staff need the Export and print reports permission). The Business Terms say subscriptions auto-renew for an equal term unless terminated under the agreement and that fees aren't refunded, so check your Order Form's term before you choose a date. They also say Payments By WellnessLiving is terminable on 30 days' written notice unless the Order Form says otherwise, that ending a fixed term early carries an early termination fee of 100% of the remaining fees, and that data for a replacement provider is released after all amounts are paid, for a data extraction and transfer fee set in the Order Form. (Sources 2, 21, 22, checked 25 and 26 Sep 2026.)

  2. Set up StudioFly

Create your class types, recurring classes, membership plans, packs and staff roles, so the structure is ready before members arrive.

  3. Import your members

Bring member records across with a spreadsheet (CSV or Excel) import, and check the imported records before you use them.

  4. Plan payments

Saved cards and recurring payments usually can’t be moved between payment providers, so connect your PayPal business account and plan how members will pay their next fee through PayPal.

  5. Choose a switch date

Pick a quiet week, tell members the date and what changes for them, and move bookings over on that day. How long it takes depends on your member count, your plans and how much history you move.
