WellnessLiving alternatives for studios in the US

Last verified: 26 September 2026

WellnessLiving publishes self-serve plan prices in US dollars, so comparing alternatives comes down to what each plan includes, what payments and text messages cost on top, and what the contract commits you to. This page sets out what StudioFly, Mindbody, Momence, ABC Glofox, Mariana Tek and Arketa publish on those points.

We make StudioFly, and we've tried to be fair to everyone else, including where WellnessLiving is the better choice. Every fact carries a numbered source and was checked on 25 or 26 September 2026 from India; where a price may depend on the visitor's location, we say so.

WellnessLiving is a trademark of its owner. StudioFly is not affiliated with or endorsed by WellnessLiving. Other product names on this page belong to their owners.

Choose StudioFly if

  • You want every plan's price and what it includes published in US dollars, with a free trial and no setup fee
  • You want WhatsApp and email campaigns, leads and CRM, and products and inventory in the same workspace as members and classes
  • You want every location from one login, with a Location Performance view by branch, on every plan (extra locations are an add-on)
  • Members pay online through PayPal on your own PayPal business account (Pro and Enterprise)

Look elsewhere if

  • You need ACH bank payments from members: look at WellnessLiving, Momence or Arketa
  • You need text messages to members: look at WellnessLiving or Arketa
  • Clients must book a specific spot or machine: look at WellnessLiving, Momence or ABC Glofox
  • You want a branded app included in the plan: look at WellnessLiving BusinessPro or Mariana Tek
  • Families book and pay for each other: look at WellnessLiving or Arketa
PRICING

What each one publishes.

WellnessLiving

  • With Pay Annually (Save 10%): Starter $62/mo, Business $179/mo and BusinessPro $314/mo; Enterprise stays Call us.1
  • The page also shows an 80%-off offer for two months that expires on 30 September 2026. It isn't an ongoing price, so this page uses the list prices above.1
  • The Business Terms define fees per Active Location, multiplied by the number of Active Locations in the Order Form, and say payments are in U.S. Dollars unless an Order Form says otherwise.2
  • Published add-ons: API Access at $19/mo on every plan, and, in the help center, the White Label app at $209 USD per location a month, plus a $150 USD annual maintenance fee, Apple's $99 USD annual membership and a $159 USD fee when the app must be rebuilt.1,3
  • Message Center (two-way and marketing text messages) is a separate subscription: US and Canada plans run from $19 USD for 500 messages to $375 USD for 25,000 a month.3
  • Billing is monthly or annual by card online, with invoicing on BusinessPro and Enterprise. The Business Terms (last update August 14, 2026) say subscriptions run for the Order Form term and auto-renew for an equal term, fees aren't refunded, and fees can change on 30 days' notice unless the Order Form says otherwise.1,2

StudioFly (US dollars)

  • Growth: $99 a month, or $999 a year
  • Pro: $149 a month, or $1,499 a year

HOW TO COMPARE

Five questions worth asking.

  1. What will you pay each month, all in?

Add the plan for each location to the add-ons you need, such as a branded app, API access, text-message plans and AI agents, and leave introductory offers out when you compare.

  2. Who processes payments, and at what rate?

Ask for card, ACH and refund rates in writing, any monthly gateway or compliance fees, and whether you must use the vendor's own processors.

  3. What does the contract commit you to?

Check the term, the renewal period, the notice you must give and any early termination or data extraction fee before you sign.

  4. Which plan has the features you need?

Check which plan includes spot booking, marketing campaigns, multi-location tools and a branded app, and price the plan you'd actually buy.

  5. How will members hear from you?

Decide between text messages, WhatsApp, email and push notifications, and ask what text messages cost in your country.

THE ALTERNATIVES

Options worth comparing.

StudioFly

  • Every plan’s price and what it includes is published: Growth, Pro and Enterprise in US dollars, with a 14-day free trial, no card needed and no setup fee.
  • One workspace for members, leads and CRM, classes, invoices, email campaigns, and products and inventory, with WhatsApp messaging on your own number. CRM and product management are on every plan; WhatsApp on your own number and Email Marketing Premium are included on Enterprise and add-ons on Growth and Pro.
  • Members pay online through PayPal on your own PayPal business account, including auto-renewing memberships (Pro and Enterprise). Stripe, ACH and text messages (SMS) aren’t available.
  • Owners see every location from one login, with a Location Performance view by branch; extra locations are paid add-ons. The Full Website API (Enterprise, or an add-on on Pro) takes bookings and sales on your own website.
  • AI Business Pack: AI insights, a business assistant and a WhatsApp AI agent (Enterprise, or an add-on on Growth and Pro).
  • Email, ticket and phone support on every plan. Tickets get an AI reply around the clock, and a person replies within 2 business hours. Enterprise adds a dedicated customer success manager for onboarding, training and handholding.
  • There’s no consumer marketplace and no choice of a particular machine, and the mobile apps are coming soon.

Consider StudioFly for published US-dollar plans, one workspace for members, leads, classes and products with WhatsApp on your own number, and online payments through your own PayPal account; look elsewhere if you need ACH, text messages, a branded app or family accounts today.

SWITCHING

Moving from WellnessLiving to StudioFly.

A realistic plan, step by step. Nothing here needs to happen in a hurry.

  1. Export what you have

Export your client list from App Drawer > View All > Clients as CSV, Excel or PDF, and export reports the same way (staff need the Export and print reports permission). The Business Terms say subscriptions auto-renew for an equal term unless terminated under the agreement and that fees aren't refunded, so check your Order Form's term before you choose a date. They also say Payments By WellnessLiving is terminable on 30 days' written notice unless the Order Form says otherwise, that ending a fixed term early carries an early termination fee of 100% of the remaining fees, and that data for a replacement provider is released after all amounts are paid, for a data extraction and transfer fee set in the Order Form. (Sources 2, 47, 48, checked 25 and 26 Sep 2026.)

  2. Set up StudioFly

Create your class types, recurring classes, membership plans, packs and staff roles, so the structure is ready before members arrive.

  3. Import your members

Bring member records across with a spreadsheet (CSV or Excel) import, and check the imported records before you use them.

  4. Plan payments

Saved cards and recurring payments usually can’t be moved between payment providers, so connect your PayPal business account and plan how members will pay their next fee through PayPal.

  5. Choose a switch date

Pick a quiet week, tell members the date and what changes for them, and move bookings over on that day. How long it takes depends on your member count, your plans and how much history you move.

A LITTLE MORE CLARITY

Your questions, answered.

Want to talk through your own setup?

Let’s have a conversation
Is WellnessLiving's 80%-off price its regular price?

(Sources 1, 2, checked 26 Sep 2026.)

Does WellnessLiving handle US sales tax and UK VAT?

Studios add each tax as a named percentage by location and category, and tax is applied per item at checkout; with the UK, Australia or New Zealand as the business country, online-store prices include tax. Not listed on https://help.wellnessliving.com/en/articles/10257477-set-currency-and-taxes-for-your-business as of 26 Sep 2026: VAT invoices or VAT numbers, or automatic US sales-tax rate lookup.
