YDL alternatives for Pilates, yoga and dance studios in India

Last verified: 25 September 2026

YDL (YourDigitalLift) is Mumbai-based software for gyms and fitness studios that also sells marketing services such as ad management and content creation. It publishes a starting price of ₹699 a month, and the rest of its pricing comes through a form and its sales team.

We make StudioFly, software built for class-led studios: Pilates, yoga, dance and other studios that run on classes, packs and teachers. This page is for studios; if you mainly run a gym floor, MyGymDesk, from the same team, is built for gyms. Every YDL fact below is sourced and dated 25 September 2026, and we say where YDL fits better.

YDL is a trademark of its owner. StudioFly is not affiliated with or endorsed by YDL. Other product names on this page belong to their owners.

Choose StudioFly if

  • You run a class-led studio and want every plan's price and features published
  • Members should join waitlists themselves and move in automatically when a place frees up
  • You sell duo sessions and class packs, with a cancellation window that deducts a credit
  • You want email campaigns and bookings on your own website through the Full Website API

Look elsewhere if

  • You want the software vendor to run your ads and content too
  • You need a branded member app in the stores today
  • Door access should block expired members automatically
  • Members want workout and diet tracking in their app
PRICING

What each one publishes.

YDL

  • YDL's pricing page (viewed from India) publishes one figure, 'Plans starting at ₹699/month'. Everything else goes through a form, after which the team recommends a plan. No plan names or plan prices are shown.1
  • The scrolling banner on YDL's /studio/ page still shows a different figure, 'Gym Management Software @ Just Rs 999 (USD 12) Per Month', which conflicts with the ₹699 on the pricing page.10
  • YDL's pricing form asks for business type and number of locations (new, single or multiple). No per-location, per-member or per-staff price is published. YDL's Terms of Service define Usage Plans as allowing a customer 'a certain set number of Trainers and Trainees', so plans are sized by user counts. The counts aren't published.1,4
  • YDL's Terms of Service require monthly or annual fees paid in advance for the plan subscribed to, and say the customer may terminate at any time. No minimum term or lock-in is stated, but fees for a billing cycle that has started aren't refunded (see cancellation_terms).4
  • YDL's Terms of Service provide for 'In-Application Purchases' (extra products, services or functions not included in the plan price), priced in a Fee Schedule the vendor gives to users. No add-on prices are published.4

StudioFly (India)

  • Growth: ₹1,999 a month, or ₹19,999 a year
  • Pro: ₹2,999 a month, or ₹29,999 a year
  • Enterprise: ₹44,999 a year; monthly billing on request
  • Prices exclude GST. Every plan includes one location and unlimited members, with a 7-day free trial in India. See pricing
HOW TO COMPARE

Five questions worth asking.

  1. What's the full price for your studio?

A starting price isn't a quote. Get plan names, the features in each, GST treatment and the billing period in writing.

  2. Is it built around classes or the gym floor?

Test booking, packs, waitlists and cancellation rules with your own timetable, not a gym membership.

  3. How do waitlists and cancellations work?

Check whether members join a waitlist themselves, and what a late cancellation or no-show costs them.

  4. Which messages cost extra?

Ask whether WhatsApp and SMS messages are charged on top of the plan.

  5. How do you get your data out?

Ask for a full export of members, payments and attendance, and when an account's data is deleted after you leave.

THE ALTERNATIVES

Options worth comparing.

StudioFly

  • Every plan’s price and what it includes is published: Growth, Pro and Enterprise in rupees, with a 7-day free trial in India, no card needed and no setup fee.
  • One workspace for members, leads and CRM, classes, GST billing, WhatsApp reminders and campaigns, email campaigns, and products and inventory. CRM and product management are on every plan; WhatsApp Business API on your own number and Email Marketing Premium are included on Enterprise.
  • UPI, cards and netbanking through Razorpay (Pro and Enterprise; add-on on Growth); GST invoices with GSTR-1 export on every plan.
  • Owners see every location from one login, with a Location Performance view by branch; extra locations are paid add-ons. The Full Website API (Enterprise, or an add-on on Pro) takes bookings and sales on your own website.
  • AI Business Pack: AI insights, a business assistant and a WhatsApp AI agent (Enterprise, or an add-on on Growth and Pro).
  • Email, ticket and phone support on every plan. Tickets get an AI reply around the clock, and a person replies within 2 business hours. Enterprise adds a dedicated customer success manager for onboarding, training and handholding.
  • There’s no consumer marketplace and no choice of a particular machine, and the mobile apps are coming soon.

Consider StudioFly for a class-led studio that wants published pricing, self-join waitlists, duo sessions and GST invoicing in one workspace; choose YDL if marketing services or a branded app matter more.

StudioFly in India

YoActiv

  • Quote only, viewed from India on 25 Sep 2026: four CRM plans (Starter, Lite, Growth, Ultimate) each show 'Get A Demo' and no price; CRM Enterprise (multi-location and franchise) is 'Talk To Sales'. This re-verifies source 26 on StudioFly's live compare page.14
  • YoActiv One collects payments by UPI, debit or credit card, or internet banking.15
  • Support hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:30am-6:30pm IST, with a call-back within 48 hours; email support@yoactiv.com.16
  • Every plan lists the business in the Yoactiv consumer app.14

Consider YoActiv for an Indian vendor with support in Indian hours and a consumer app listing; pricing comes after a demo.

Zenoti

  • Viewed from India on 25 Sep 2026, Zenoti's other pricing page (/pricing-zenoti, Fitness selected) shows two offers, Zenoti OS and Your AI Workforce, each with only a "Get a Quote" button.17
  • Zenoti has a GST - India mode, switched on by a setting (help page last modified 7 June 2023). Receipts can show each GST component (for example CGST and SGST), and the GST invoice types include tax invoices, vouchers, credit notes and advance receipts.18
  • Each Zenoti notification template can be switched to send by email, text or WhatsApp. Two-way WhatsApp in HyperConnect is a paid add-on subscription, needs a Meta Business Account and verified number, and Meta's conversation fees apply per 24-hour session; promotional bulk messages aren't allowed there (page last modified 5 May 2026).19,20
  • India presence: a Zenoti press release dated 28 February 2020 says Hyderabad is its largest office, with engineering, product, implementation and support teams.21

Consider Zenoti for larger or multi-location businesses, especially with a spa or salon alongside fitness; pricing is by quote.

Bookday

  • Quote only, viewed from India on 25 Sep 2026: four plans (Solo, Studio, Premium, Enterprise) are shown with feature lists but no prices; each links to 'Book a demo' or 'Contact us'. https://bookday.io/pricing redirects to the home page.22
  • Razorpay is one of five payment providers, 'available for studios in India and other supported regions'; the studio enters its own Razorpay Key ID and Key Secret. Recurring subscriptions work only with Stripe, so they are not available to a studio using Razorpay.23
  • A branded member app on the App Store and Google Play under the studio's name (Premium plan).22

Consider Bookday for a lean booking tool with a branded app; recurring memberships need Stripe.

IN FAIRNESS

Where YDL is the better choice.

Marketing services from the same vendor

Alongside the software, YDL's homepage sells growth-marketing services: Meta Ads management, Google Ads management and content creation for gyms. YDL's digital-marketing page offers social media marketing, PPC, SEO, website design, reputation management and offline marketing (hoardings, pamphlets) for gyms, in custom packages.3,12

A branded member app today

YDL provides a studio-branded member app listed on Google Play and the Apple App Store. YDL's Pilates page describes a fully white-label client app in the studio's logo and colours.5,8

Door access tied to memberships

YDL links memberships to door access: its biometric integration automatically blocks members whose package has expired or who owe a balance, and supports time- or slot-based access. YDL recommends biometric devices, including its own YDL-branded models (e.g. YDL TM-20 fingerprint and card), plus eSSL, ZKTeco, Biomax and Vital devices. No hardware prices are published.13

Onboarding done for you

YDL describes its support as onboarding with complete data migration, a dedicated relationship manager, WhatsApp support, staff and owner training, and monthly check-ins. YDL's Pilates FAQ says its technical team runs the migration end to end, including historical data import and member profile migration, with zero downtime.2,8

Workout and diet tracking for members

YDL's member app includes workout and diet tracking (2,500+ exercise GIFs, 12,000+ food database), PAR-Q and medical-history forms, challenges and referral programmes.5

SWITCHING

Moving from YDL to StudioFly.

A realistic plan, step by step. Nothing here needs to happen in a hurry.

  1. Export what you have

YDL's pages describe no export tool, and its Terms of Service tell customers to keep their own back-ups and say an account's content may be deleted on cancellation. Ask YDL for a full export of members, payments and attendance before you give notice. Fees for a billing cycle that has already started are not refunded. (Sources 3, 4, checked 25 Sep 2026.)

  2. Set up StudioFly

Create your class types, recurring classes, membership plans, packs and staff roles, so the structure is ready before members arrive.

  3. Import your members

Bring member records across with a spreadsheet (CSV or Excel) import, and check the imported records before you use them.

  4. Plan payments

Saved cards and recurring set-ups usually can’t be moved between payment providers, so plan how members will pay their next fee through StudioFly.

  5. Choose a switch date

Pick a quiet week, tell members the date and what changes for them, and move bookings over on that day. How long it takes depends on your member count, your plans and how much history you move.
