We checked nine options, StudioFly included, against the same criteria, India first, using only each product’s own pages. This isn’t a ranking. Each product sits under the kind of studio it suits best, and we say where another product suits a studio better than StudioFly.

We checked every product against the same 14 criteria, StudioFly included, using only the product's own website, pricing page, help centre or app listing, on 25 September 2026.
India criteria
Prices in rupees
The vendor’s own prices are published in rupees. Partly means they’re quoted in rupees but not published.
UPI payments
Members can pay you by UPI, directly or through an Indian gateway such as Razorpay. Partly means UPI payments are only recorded by hand, or UPI is still planned.
GST invoices
Invoices to your members with your GSTIN and the CGST and SGST, or IGST, split. Partly means GST is mentioned, or a single tax label, without those details.
Automatic WhatsApp reminders
Fee, renewal or class reminders sent to members on WhatsApp automatically. Partly means they’re sent by hand, or WhatsApp isn’t available to studios in India.
Support in India

How we chose the products
We started from the Google results for fitness studio and boutique fitness software that we recorded on 24 September 2026, and from the platforms boutique studios meet most often. YDL and YoActiv are Indian vendors, and Kenko and Bookday take member payments in India through Razorpay.
For each product we read its own website, pricing page and help centre on 25 September 2026. StudioFly is included because we make it.
What “Listed” means
Listed: the product's own pages describe it. Partly: they describe some of it, or only as a paid add-on or on the roadmap. Not listed: we couldn't find it on the pages we checked. That doesn't mean the product can't do it, so ask the vendor.
For StudioFly we used the same standard: what studiofly.fit says, which is limited to what we've confirmed in the product.
Best for: Indian boutique studios that sell class packs and memberships and want UPI through Razorpay, GST invoices, WhatsApp reminders, self-join waitlists and automatic trainer pay, without a spot map.

Which fitness studio software lets members choose their spot?
ABC Glofox, Mariana Tek, Momence, Mindbody (on Accelerate and Ultimate) and Kenko (as a premium feature) list spot booking from a room map or layout. Bookday assigns equipment to each session without member choice. StudioFly members book their own place in a class but can’t pick a particular machine, and YoActiv’s and YDL’s pages don’t describe it.
Which options take UPI in India?
StudioFly and YDL take UPI through Razorpay, and YoActiv lists UPI collection. Kenko sends Razorpay payment links that accept UPI, for non-recurring memberships only, and Bookday supports Razorpay for studios in India. ABC Glofox, Mariana Tek, Momence and Mindbody don’t list UPI on the pages we checked.
Do these waitlists fill automatically?
StudioFly, ABC Glofox, Mariana Tek, Momence, Mindbody and Kenko move the first person on the waitlist into a freed place automatically. Bookday offers the place by email and push for the member to confirm, and YoActiv and YDL list waiting lists without saying how they’re filled.
Which work out trainer pay automatically?
Mariana Tek, Momence, Mindbody, Kenko, YoActiv, Bookday and YDL list pay or commission worked out from the rates you set or the classes taught, and StudioFly creates PT commissions automatically and works out class commissions for each trainer. ABC Glofox’s payroll export is a CSV, and it says totals per trainer are worked out by hand.
