ChatGPT for yoga studios: classes, students and bookings by chat
More time on the mat.
ChatGPT for yoga studios gets practical once it can read your own schedule. Connect StudioFly and ask which Vinyasa classes have room, who hasn't rolled out a mat in a week, or book a student into tomorrow's 7am class, with a preview before anything changes.

How can a yoga studio use ChatGPT?
A yoga studio can use ChatGPT to look after the everyday admin around classes once StudioFly is connected. Ask what's on tomorrow and how full each class is, which students haven't been in for a week, whose class pack ends this month, or which sessions still need a teacher. ChatGPT can also book a student into a class, add a class to the schedule or check someone in, after showing a preview of exactly what will change and getting your yes. Canceling a class, extending or freezing a membership and sending a payment reminder wait for your yes the same way. ChatGPT works with your StudioFly login, so it sees only what your role can see. Payments, refunds and settings stay in the StudioFly app. The connector is included on the Pro and Enterprise plans and available as an add-on on Growth.
Book students in, with two checks
Asked to book Arjun Mehta into tomorrow's 7am Vinyasa class, ChatGPT first previewed the booking: Arjun, tomorrow (6 Oct) at 7:00 AM, Vinyasa Flow Yoga at the studio's Banjara Hills location, 14 places open, and a WhatsApp confirmation to follow. Then ChatGPT showed its own approval card before making the booking.
Every booking now also waits for StudioFly's own question: the preview ends with “Shall I go ahead?”, and nothing is booked until you say yes. ChatGPT's approval card can come on top of that, depending on how it's set up, and a full class is never overbooked.
Spot the classes that still need a teacher
A schedule can look full and still have holes. Ask for next week's schedule and ChatGPT lists each session with its time, teacher and bookings. At the demo studio, two Restorative Yoga sessions came back with no teacher listed: the kind of gap you want to find on a Monday, not on Thursday morning.
The same answer showed that next week was mostly unbooked so far, which is normal on a Monday and a useful baseline to check against midweek.
These answers come from Kinetic Loft Studio, a demo Pilates and yoga studio set up in India, so its amounts are in rupees.
Show next week's class schedule.
Next week (12–18 Oct) at Kinetic Loft Studio has 19 class sessions:
- Mon 18:30 Vinyasa Flow Yoga (Kabir Malhotra) 0/15
- Tue 07:00 Vinyasa Flow Yoga (Kabir Malhotra) 0/15
- Tue 08:00 Restorative Yoga (no teacher listed) 0/15
- Wed 19:30 Restorative Yoga (Kabir Malhotra) 0/15
- Thu 08:00 Restorative Yoga (no teacher listed) 0/15
- …plus more Vinyasa and Restorative sessions, and the week's Pilates and Barre classes
- Sunday 18 Oct: no classes scheduled.
Notice who hasn't been in
Yoga is a habit, and habits slip. Ask which members haven't been to class in the last 7 days and ChatGPT lists them, longest away first, with each person's last visit.
A personal note from their usual teacher is a kind way to reach out. ChatGPT finds the names; the words are yours.
Which members haven't been to a class in the last 7 days?
There are 10 active members who haven't visited in at least 7 days:
- Rohan Kulkarni: 5 Sep (30 days)
- Divya Pillai: 9 Sep (26 days)
- Meghna Bose: 16 Sep (19 days)
- Vikram Rao: 17 Sep (18 days)
- Pooja Agarwal: 19 Sep (16 days)
- …and five more, the most recent on 22 Sep
- Rohan Kulkarni and Divya Pillai have been away the longest.
Know whose pack is running low
Students buy a class pack and lose count of what's left. “Member lookup” shows one student's plans and packs with their end dates, sessions left, any freeze, what they owe, their last visit and how many visits they made in the last 30 days.
Ask before a student's next class and the renewal conversation starts with facts, not a guess. To see everyone at once, ask which packs and memberships end in the next two weeks.
Nothing happens behind your back
The connector can't take payments, issue refunds, delete anything or change your settings; those stay in the StudioFly app. It never exports your student list or shows anyone's pay or bank details.
Every change, from booking a student in to canceling a class or sending a payment reminder, is shown first and waits for you to say yes.
For yoga studios on Pro, Enterprise or Growth
Teachers and front-desk staff connect with their own logins, so each person's ChatGPT sees what their role allows.
The AI connector is included on the Pro and Enterprise plans and available as an add-on on Growth.
Growth add-on: ₹300 a month or ₹3,000 a year (in India) $5 a month or $50 a year (outside India) , plus applicable taxes.
ChatGPT for yoga studios FAQs
Want to talk through your own setup?
Let’s have a conversationCan ChatGPT write my yoga class descriptions too?
ChatGPT can draft text on its own, as it always could. The StudioFly connector adds what it couldn't do before: read your real schedule, students and class packs, and make a small set of changes after a preview. It doesn't edit class descriptions in StudioFly.
Can I book a student into a class that's full?
No. StudioFly applies the same capacity checks as the dashboard, so the connector never overbooks. Students can join the waitlist themselves in the member app.
Do students get a message when I book them in?
Yes, the usual booking confirmation. At the demo studio, the preview said it would go by WhatsApp.
Can teachers use ChatGPT with StudioFly?
Yes, with their own StudioFly login. Each person sees only what their role allows, so a teacher without access to reports won't see revenue.
What does the connector cost a yoga studio?
The AI connector is included on the Pro and Enterprise plans and available as an add-on on Growth. The add-on costs ₹300 a month or ₹3,000 a year for studios in India, or $5 a month or $50 a year elsewhere, plus applicable taxes. Every teacher and front-desk login can then connect their own ChatGPT account.
