Claude for dance studios: your classes, dancers and dues by chat
Fewer screens.
Claude for dance studios earns its place in the evening rush, when classes run back to back and the front desk is one person deep. Connect StudioFly to Claude and you can check a dancer in, see what's on tonight, find who owes fees and send a reminder, with a preview before every change.
From the team behind MyGymDeskWhat does today look like at my studio?
Kinetic Loft Studio today: 2 of 20 class places booked, no private sessions, and nothing collected yet.
How can a dance studio use Claude?
A dance studio can use Claude to handle quick admin between classes once StudioFly is connected. Ask what's on today and how full each class is, look up a dancer's class pack or membership, see who owes fees, or find students who haven't been in for a while. Claude can also check a dancer in, book them into a class, schedule an extra class or a weekly series, and send a payment reminder. Every change is previewed first and waits for your yes, and Claude follows your StudioFly login's permissions, so front-desk staff see only what their role allows. Payments, refunds, invoices and settings stay in the StudioFly app. StudioFly is listed in Claude's directory, and the connector is included on the Pro and Enterprise plans and available as an add-on on Growth.
Questions to ask between classes
Dance studios run on evenings and weekends, often with several styles and levels back to back. Ask Claude what today looks like and it answers from StudioFly: check-ins, who's in the studio now, bookings against places, and what was collected.
At the demo studio, the answer was a quiet one: 2 of 20 class places booked, no private sessions and nothing collected yet. The examples on this page come from that demo, a Pilates and yoga studio. The same questions work for ballet, hip-hop or contemporary classes, because StudioFly runs them all as classes with places and bookings.
Try
- “What classes are on tonight, and how full are they?”
- “Which classes this week have a waitlist?”
- “Show Saturday's schedule with the instructor for each class.”
Check dancers in without leaving the chat
When a student forgets their QR code or the queue builds at the door, type “Check Lakshmi Narayan in now”. At the demo studio, Claude previewed the check-in and, once it was allowed, recorded it at 3:10pm.
A check-in needs a live membership or class pack, so it won't quietly admit someone whose plan has run out. It lands in the same attendance StudioFly reports on, so “When are our busiest class times?” later includes it.
Check Lakshmi Narayan in now.
Previewed, then checked in at 3:10pm. Nobody was messaged.
Dues and reminders, one dancer at a time
Fees slip when everyone's focused on the next routine. Ask who owes money and Claude lists balances oldest first, with the total. To nudge one person, ask for a payment reminder for that bill.
At the demo studio, the reminder below was previewed as a ₹4,000 reminder by WhatsApp and waited for a yes. The demo studio's messages go to a test sandbox, never to real people. A reminder covers one unpaid bill or class pack for one member; reminders to everyone at once stay in the StudioFly app.
Send Kavya Srinivasan a payment reminder for BILL-2026-00003.
Preview: a ₹4,000 reminder for BILL-2026-00003, sent by WhatsApp. Shall I go ahead?
Yes.
Sent.
Add classes as your schedule grows
Adding a beginners' class or a weekend slot is one request. Give the class, day and time; for a regular class, add the weekdays and how many weeks. StudioFly previews every date at once, skips days the studio is closed, and creates the whole series with one confirmation. Nobody is messaged until people book.
If a class has to go, ask Claude to cancel it and give the reason. Every booked dancer gets one notice, nobody loses a session from their pack, and the cancellation waits for your yes.
Parents stay in the member app
Many dance studios teach children, and StudioFly's family accounts let one parent book, pay and get messages for the whole family. That all happens in the member app. The Claude connector is for your team: owners and staff, each signed in with their own login.
The connector also protects member details by design. It can't list or export your whole student list, never shows phone numbers in lookups, and can't see anyone's pay, bank or ID details.
For your whole front-desk team
Owners and staff each connect their own Claude account with their own StudioFly login, and each sees what their role allows.
The AI connector is included on the Pro and Enterprise plans and available as an add-on on Growth.
Growth add-on: ₹300 a month or ₹3,000 a year (in India) $5 a month or $50 a year (outside India) , plus applicable taxes.
Claude for dance studios FAQs
Want to talk through your own setup?
Let’s have a conversationDoes the Claude connector have dance-specific features?
The connector works with classes, members, class packs and bookings, which is how StudioFly runs a dance studio too. The examples on this page come from a demo Pilates and yoga studio, and the same questions work for dance classes of any style.
Can Claude book a child into a class?
Yes, if the child has their own member record in StudioFly: name them as you would any member. The booking gets the same capacity and class pack checks as at the front desk.
Can Claude send fee reminders to all parents at once?
No. A reminder is for one member and one unpaid bill or class pack, after you approve the preview. Reminders to many members at once stay in the StudioFly app.
Is StudioFly in Claude's directory?
Yes, since 5 October 2026, at claude.ai/directory/studiofly. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors, find StudioFly, connect and sign in with your StudioFly login.
Can instructors use Claude with StudioFly?
Yes, with their own StudioFly login. Claude follows each person's role, so an instructor sees and changes only what their role allows.
What does it cost?
The AI connector is included on the Pro and Enterprise plans and available as an add-on on Growth. The add-on costs ₹300 a month or ₹3,000 a year for studios in India, or $5 a month or $50 a year elsewhere, plus applicable taxes.
