THE SHORT ANSWER

What is the Claude studio management connector?

StudioFly's Claude studio management connector is a remote MCP server, at https://mcp.studiofly.fit/mcp, that lets Claude work with your studio's data. You connect it from Claude's directory, or as a custom connector, and sign in with your own StudioFly login on StudioFly's consent page. Claude can then use 37 tools: 17 that read, such as the class schedule, dues and attendance; 10 previews; and 10 that make a change, such as booking a member or freezing a membership. Every change is previewed first and made only after your yes, a preview works once within 10 minutes, and nothing is done twice. Claude sees only what your role and locations allow. It can't record payments, delete, export all members, change settings or reach another business. The connector is included on the Pro and Enterprise plans and available as an add-on on Growth.

HOW IT CONNECTS

Your login, your permissions

The connector uses OAuth, the kind of sign-in you use when one app asks permission to use another. Claude sends you to StudioFly's own consent page, which names your studio and asks you to approve. Your password is typed into StudioFly, never into Claude.

Claude registers itself automatically the first time it connects, so there's no client ID or secret to copy. Once approved, Claude acts as you: it sees what your role and locations see, and every change needs the same permission it needs in the dashboard.

  • Add it from Claude's directory, or as a custom connector with the address https://mcp.studiofly.fit/mcp.
  • On Claude Team or Enterprise, an Owner adds it once for the organization; each person then connects with their own StudioFly login.
  • End the connection in Claude, or from Connected AI apps in StudioFly.
37 TOOLS

Everything the connector can do

Claude groups the tools by what they do: 27 read-only tools (the 17 reads and the 10 previews) and 10 that make a change. Each has a plain name, and StudioFly answers from the same records as the dashboard, so the figures match your Reports screens.

17 reads read-only

  • Who am I
  • Today at a glance
  • Member lookup
  • Expiring soon
  • Dues outstanding
  • Inactive members
  • Revenue and collections
  • Class schedule
  • PT summary
  • Leads and follow-ups
  • Renewals and churn risk
  • Staff on shift
  • Device status
  • Attendance report
  • Members report
  • Payments report
  • Expenses and profit

10 changes each asks first

  • Book a member into a class
  • Schedule a class session or a weekly series
  • Check a member in
  • Add a lead
  • Log a follow-up response
  • Cancel a class session
  • Send a payment reminder
  • Extend a membership
  • Freeze a membership
  • Create a WhatsApp template

Every change starts as a preview that changes nothing, and nothing is made until you answer yes to “Shall I go ahead?” That goes for a booking or a check-in as much as a cancellation or a payment reminder.

PREVIEW IDS

Why nothing happens twice

Every change is split into two tools. The preview works out who and what would change, before and after, and who will be told, then returns a preview id. Only the matching change tool can use that id, only once, and only within 10 minutes.

If the studio changed in the meantime (a class filled, a membership was renewed), the change is refused and Claude has to preview again. If Claude repeats a call, StudioFly recognizes the id and does nothing more, because the change is already made.

Every change waits for a yes, with no exceptions: booking a member, scheduling a class, checking someone in, adding a lead, logging a follow-up, canceling a class, a payment reminder, extending or freezing a membership, and a WhatsApp template. Each preview ends with “Shall I go ahead?”, and Claude can add its own approval card on top.

WHAT IT WON'T DO

Refusals, tested in Claude

Limits only matter if they hold. On 5 October 2026, on Kinetic Loft Studio, a demo Pilates and yoga studio, the connector turned down each of these requests in Claude and changed nothing.

A WhatsApp template can be submitted only by a studio that sends WhatsApp from its own number; the template is submitted to Meta for approval and isn't sent to anyone.

WHAT'S SHARED

What Claude sees, and what it never does

Claude receives the answer to each tool call and nothing else. Member lookups leave out phone numbers, expenses come back as category totals rather than single payments to a person, and no tool shows pay, bank or ID details, medical notes or passwords.

StudioFly keeps a log of each tool call: the tool, its inputs, the outcome and how long it took. It doesn't keep your conversation. Section 5B of the Privacy Policy explains what the connector shares and what we keep.

PLANS

Included on Pro, an add-on on Growth

The connector is one product for both assistants: switch it on once and your team can use Claude, ChatGPT or both.

The AI connector is included on the Pro and Enterprise plans and available as an add-on on Growth.

Growth add-on: ₹300 a month or ₹3,000 a year (in India) $5 a month or $50 a year (outside India) , plus applicable taxes.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

The StudioFly connector for Claude FAQs

Want to talk through your own setup?

Let’s have a conversation
What is an MCP connector?

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that lets an AI assistant use tools another service provides. StudioFly's connector is an MCP server: Claude asks it to run a tool, such as the class schedule, and StudioFly answers as the signed-in user.

Do I need a client ID or secret?

No. If Claude asks how it should identify itself, choose Register automatically and leave the client ID and secret empty. Claude registers itself the first time it connects.

Can I limit which tools Claude may use?

Yes. In Claude, under Customize → Connectors → StudioFly → Tool permissions, set each tool to Always allow, Needs approval or Blocked. In StudioFly, the owner's role settings decide what each person can do at all.

Can Claude see another studio's data?

No. The studio comes from your sign-in, never from what you type. Asked for revenue by a business id in testing, the connector only checked who was signed in and refused.

What happens when I disconnect?

Claude loses access straight away: its next call is refused. You can connect again at any time with your StudioFly login.

Which plans include the connector?

The AI connector is included on the Pro and Enterprise plans and available as an add-on on Growth. The add-on costs ₹300 a month or ₹3,000 a year for studios in India, or $5 a month or $50 a year elsewhere, plus applicable taxes.
